Therefore, in September 2017, the “VIETNAM TAIWAN OCEANRESOURCE CENTER FOR ECONOMIC AND INDUSTRY-ACADEMY COOPERATION, VTORC-EIAC” was established.
The main objective is to cooperate with the government to promote the new southward policy, deepen Vietnam’s industry and trade-related affairs, connect local Taiwanese businessmen to cultivate demand, organize activities related to Vietnam’s industry, structure and integrate resource platforms, and plan field surveys and research projects for teachers and students in China. Establish a talent database.
In order to deepen the understanding of the current situation of Vietnam’s local industries and cultivate relevant human resources, in response to China’s development needs for Vietnam. And actively strengthen exchanges with Vietnam, effectively link Taiwan and Vietnam, in addition to enhancing the friendship between the two peoples, Taiwan’s experience and industry can also be used to Vietnam, and can refer Vietnamese students to Taiwan to attend universities and high-level talents. Working in Taiwan will fully enable the platform center to perform its functions. At the same time, it will provide information to Taiwanese businessmen and local companies through information disclosure, and enhance the willingness and channels for Vietnamese students to study in Taiwan.
